Words of Welcome

On behalf of the German Squash Federation (DSQV) I have the pleasure of inviting all international junior competitors to Mülheim an der Ruhr to compete in the German Junior Open 2007. We are very proud to be able to welcome the best Squash Junior athletes from Germany, Europe and all over the World. In 2006 a total number of 260 Players from 8 age categories, 24 nations and five continents participated in the event setting a new record mark. It always has been essential to cooperate with reliable partners when organising this important international junior’s tournament as Grand Prix being part of the Junior circuit of the European Squash Federation (ESF) Super Series. I am sure that the organisation of the tournament in the Squash-Treff in Mülheim an der Ruhr, venue of the Squash competitions of the 2005 IWGA World Games, will provide best conditions for all Players and that all spectators will be able to see fascinating sporting competitions. Players from around the world will be able to live the friendship and hospitality of the region of North Rhine-Westphalia and the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr. We would like to express our gratitude towards the representatives of the region of North Rhine-Westphalia and the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr for their support of the event. The German Squash Federation also would like to thank all partners, sponsors and the media covering the event for their support of the Squash movement in Germany.
